Lamar Nelson, founder of NLS Carriers Corp, love for trucking began at the young age of nine. While riding shotgun with his father, uncle and brother, Lamar’s passion for trucking was evident. At the age of 33, he obtained his CDL and authority, birthing his trucking company, NLS Carriers Corp.

Over the past 5 years, NLS Carriers Corp grew from 2 trucks, to now having a fleet of 10. With its expansion, NLS saw a need to service owner/operators as the bigger companies took advantage. Lamar’s vision grew to insuring that all owner/operators would work with honesty, integrity and transparency. In doing so, NLS Carriers Corp, takes care of its owner/operators with respect. Here at NLS Carriers Corp, all owner/operators are their own business. They get the opportunity to run when and where they want. Giving each owner the freedom to make as much as they would like and come home, as they desire.
